January 2007: House and Senate Introduce Bill to Study the Columbia-Pacific National Heritage Area.

We are pleased to announce that the bill requesting a feasibility study for the Columbia-Pacific National Heritage Area has been re-introduced to the new 110th Congress, whose first session has already begun.

Delegates in both Oregon and Washington have worked diligently to see this legislation introduced. This is truly a bi-state, bi-partisan effort and we are grateful for their support of this bill.
